One bridge instead of ten integrations
BodyLeveling gives you a daily calorie target from your scan, your goal and your metabolism. To be useful, that target has to sit next to what you actually ate.
Rather than building a separate integration for every calorie tracker on the App Store, BodyLeveling reads the daily total that Apple Health already holds. Your tracker writes there. BodyLeveling reads from there. That is the entire mechanism.
The practical result: no third-party login inside BodyLeveling, no API keys, no account linking, and no food data on our servers.
Supported trackers
| Tracker | Writes calories to Apple Health | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Yazio | Yes, with a Yazio PRO account | Yazio guide |
| MyFitnessPal | Yes | MyFitnessPal guide |
| Cronometer | Yes | Cronometer guide |
| Lifesum | Yes | Look for Apple Health in Lifesum's settings |
| FatSecret | Yes | Look for Apple Health in FatSecret's settings |
| Lose It! | Yes | Look for Apple Health in Lose It!'s settings |

Other trackers, Foodvisor among them, may also offer an Apple Health switch. If the app can write Dietary Energy to Apple Health, BodyLeveling will read it.
If two trackers write calories on the same day, Apple Health adds them together and BodyLeveling shows the sum. Pick one and turn the sync off in the other.
What the connection actually does
| Data types read | One only: Dietary Energy Consumed |
| Granularity | The daily total, for today |
| Direction | Read only |
| Where it is processed | On your iPhone |
| Sent to our servers | Never |
| Steps, weight, workouts, heart rate, sleep | Not read at all |
Turning it on
- Turn Apple Health sync on inside your calorie tracker.
- In BodyLeveling, open Profile, then Integrations, then Connect Apple Health, and allow Dietary Energy.
- Open the Advice tab. Today's calories appear against your target.
The per-app guides above cover the exact menu path for Yazio, MyFitnessPal and Cronometer.
Questions
Which calorie trackers work with BodyLeveling?
Any tracker that writes calories to Apple Health. That includes Yazio, MyFitnessPal, Cronometer, Lifesum, FatSecret, Lose It!, MacroFactor, Carb Manager and FoodNoms. BodyLeveling reads the daily total Apple Health already holds, so no per-app integration is needed.
Why does BodyLeveling not connect to each app directly?
Because it does not need to. Apple Health is already the place every serious tracker writes to. Reading one number from Apple Health means no third-party login, no API key, no account linking, and nothing about your food ever reaching our servers.
Does BodyLeveling write anything back to Apple Health?
No. The connection is read only, and the single data type it reads is Dietary Energy Consumed.
Does BodyLeveling read my steps, weight or workouts?
No. Calories are the only Apple Health data type BodyLeveling requests. Your weight is entered by hand at check-in, and workouts are logged in the app itself.
Is there Android or Health Connect support?
Not yet. BodyLeveling is iPhone only, and this feature is built on Apple HealthKit.
